Keyshia Dior Drops Jaws on New Website by MODERN WHOLE

HOUSTON – XXL Magazine awarded the title Eye Candy of the Year to Keyshia Dior; model, stylist and Hip Hop music video star. Sporting a strappy leather bikini, Keyshia also starred on the cover of Smooth Magazine, dubbed the “video chick everyone’s trying to hit.” Keyshia says, “I am really excited to receive XXL Eye Candy of the Year! It means a lot to me because I was up against all the beautiful models who put in work for 2010.”

Her official website, created by the design and development team at MODERNWHOLE, launched in June 2010 and features striking images in a bold, colorful design. The look and feel emulate Keyshia’s high-energy, starlet lifestyle partying with her girlfriends (her Dior Dolls), glamming for magazine photoshoots and hosting a lipstick line called “KA’OIR.”

Keyshia frequently published on her blog with the latest images, announcements and news of her entrepreneurial endeavors. The website is equipped with an interactive gallery full of stunning shots, and tweets about Keyshia stream in by the minute. This cutting-edge web project was developed using an array of dynamic web elements such as XHTML/CSS, PHP, Javascript, a custom Content Management System (CMS) and the sophisticated blogging platform, WordPress.

Houston native Ben Guerra, co-founder of MODERNWHOLE, states, “Our SEV [Search Engine Visibility] team has sent a fine-toothed comb through Keyshia’s website several times. Her name, her brand and her work are in good hands.”

In seeing to completion Keyshia’s online presence, MODERNWHOLE worked closely with one of its lead affiliates, Be Gravity, a digital brand development firm also originated in Houston. They collaborated on the creation of a “cool” entertainment and corporate brand to deliver the Hip Hop star to a broad audience. The rich, crisp photography scattered throughout the website is the work of photographer Alain Green and Keyshia’s publicist, Janero Marchand.

All eyes will be on this rising star as she continues to gain popularity outside of the Hip Hop world, in such industries as fashion, advertising and modeling. She has worked with stars Timbaland, Drake, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Rick Ross and Gucci Mane. Other large-scale MODERNWHOLE design projects on the horizon include the new NaN Player, The Ford Plantation and Ernesto Moreira Inc.
