A Dose Of Creativity And Technology
Although the “Magical” aspect of ‘Making Future Magic’ ( a stop-motion film created with iPads and light as a communication strategy ) is the fact that it was conceived primarily with the help of a new media gadget, the idea and the process executed deserves all the credit.
In a brilliant display of creativity and technical exploration, the folks over at Dentsu London show us what can be accomplished with the help of the innovative devices that have been put out in the market lately, such as computer tablets.
Via a series of photographic and animation techniques, they developed a process that allowed them to draw moving 3-D typography and objects in space using an iPad. By playing movies in dark environments on the surface of the tablet and extruding 3-D lightforms that glide in multiple exposures, they created a mellow piece that explores the morphing and floating of typeface objects.
Great example of what creative projects can accomplish with the help of new technologies.
